Offer your team the ability to save for education with Alaska 529 Workplace. Employees can open their Alaska 529 accounts at their convenience, without any specific enrollment period. There are no fees, and getting started is easy.
Contributions can be made via payroll direct deposit and/or recurring contributions. When your employee makes at least one contribution via payroll direct deposit or recurring contributions by December 31, 2025, they could receive a $100 incentive contribution through our Dash to Save More incentive program.

How to set up direct deposit
To set up direct deposit to make a single or recurring contribution, please provide the following information to your employer:
- 1. Routing number: 011001234 (Melon Bank)
- 2. Your 9 digit Alaska 529 plan account number with a 704 prefix (example: 704A8XXXXXXX)
- 3. Select checking
- 4. The amount to be deducted per pay period
The deposited funds will default to your allocation settings for your account. To set future allocations, log in to your account and click "View Details" under the selected beneficiary.
